Professor C.D. Jacobs is an internationally renowned academic and researcher with extensive experience at leading universities across Africa. He has served as a guest lecturer at the University of Gdańsk in Poland and the American University in Bulgaria, and he maintains active research collaborations with several international institutions.

Professor Jacobs has received multiple research grants from organizations such as the Human Sciences Research Council, the National Training Board, and the National Road Safety Council in South Africa. He has also secured funding from USAID and the Stan Smith and May Foundation for community service initiatives in South Africa.

He has supervised 48 Master’s and 22 Doctoral students to successful completion and has presented at numerous international conferences. He was invited to deliver a paper at the E-Learning Africa Conference in Cairo.

A prolific author, Professor Jacobs has written several textbooks and published extensively in international journals in the fields of research, psychology, education, agricultural management, quality assurance, and e-learning.

He is an honorary member of the prestigious Golden Key International Honour Society (USA), which recognizes the top 5% of performing staff and students at universities worldwide.

Beyond academia, Professor Jacobs is an enthusiastic coach of cricket, rugby, and football, and has been deeply involved in student life and welfare at both the University of Pretoria and Stellenbosch University in South Africa. He has held leadership roles at student residences, including Olienhout Men’s Hostel, Olympus, and Hippocrates Medical Hostels at the University of Pretoria.
